Fantastic find, Julie.
I am almost at the point of just chewing coffee beans and pouring boiling water in my mouth before swallowing.

When we were using the old coffee pots, we used a 'forever' filter, too. Since I found the big thing, we don't need a filter at all. It has a plastic basket, but I don't feel too bad about it because it was made in the early 80's or late 70's. Thrift store find, new in the box, neat, huh?
