Hospital-i-tea Blogathon….Tea Tables

Share a creative afternoon tea table setting. Linens, serving pieces, teapots and teacup, tea accoutrement’s and accessories, centerpieces, tea trays or three-tiers, and more. Show one way you enjoy creating a memorable tea experience. This is your opportunity to show the world the fun you have when you create your own special tea experience. Then. . .invite over a friend or neighbor and share some tea together. That way all your work is not for ought.

The Hospital-i-tea blogathon continues with tea tables. I had a really hard time getting to this because we have had a hectic week, it is just Thursday and I have had Marc to the VA hospital twice for long days. That set me back in the number of articles I had written on LoveToKnow and so the days I have been home I have been playing catch-up.

However, the idea of a somewhat leisurely afternoon of chat and tea…that was appealing. I had planned on having a visit with the Youth Pastor and so I invited her over for the afternoon.

The menu was:

Key lime bars

Pistachio Mexican Wedding cakes

Numi Dry Desert Lime Tea

It was light and refreshing, and just exactly what I needed. The heirloom roses are cut from my garden. The tea things are just things I pulled together from the cupboards along with one of my vintage cloths.

The recipes will be posted on Baking Delights in the next couple of days. It was a wonderfully refreshing time for me, and I hope it was for her as well. A delightful surprise…another friend showed up and so, along with my oldest daughter, we had a fantastic time sipping the tea and eating the cookies.
