Italians Have Always Been Friendly…

Because of the combination of the rising cost of espresso and the low wages/high unemployment there is a new coffee bar etiquette in Italy.
You head out to meet your peeps at the local coffee shop and order an espresso. ONE espresso. Then you each take a sip from the cup. Mmm…. compadre! Sharing did not go out of style in kindergarten.
It is polite to sip from a different side of the cup than your friend did, thereby sharing the coffee without sharing the germs. So if one person drinks from the left, the other can drink from the right and if there is a third person they get another side. It would seem that girls would have an unfair advantage in keeping track as long as each wore a different shade of lipstick.
How do you say “floaties” in Italian?

I tried an online translator, just because I am twisted like that. Sadly, floaties is still floaties in Italiano. BUT, Backwash came out as -risucchio.
