Light Coffee, Light Antioxidants?

Apparently when you pour that milk, cream, half and half, powdered cream substitute OR even soy milk in your coffee or tea you are creating tsunami type havoc amongst the antioxidant population.
Are you an antioxidant psychopath?
Because if you are, you may be compromising not only your health but the happiness, and yes even the very lives of the antioxidants in your coffee and tea.
These additions, according to researchers, kill some of the healthy stuff that makes up coffee and tea. Casein binds the polyphenals. Think of it. Polyphenals bound and gagged right there in your coffee cup while you sit there, cluelessly stirring.
I am seeing little casein ninjas running through coffeeland attacking the good polyphenals. Sort of like the Blue Meanies in Yellow Submarine.
I think I need some coffee. With cream.

I don’t need it with my tea, but with my coffee…oh boy and howdy.
Oh, me too Vee, I love dark coffee with heavy cream.
Somebody seriously needs to clue in the health police that coffee is not about being healthy…and neither is tea. It’s about setting an environment conducive to to peace right up until you have to dig in and work for the day. Hence coffee breaks and afternoon tea….. small little peaceful worlds where we get to stop our duties for a few minutes each day.
O.k. Ginger..that should be a quote in a book.
Amen to what Ginger said!
I vote we have GInger write a book of quotations
And amen and amen to what Marye said about Ginger.
O.k..Look GInger, ya gotta do it.
LOL It would be a one page book. Thanks for the compliments.
I was not aware that soy milk contained casein……
while it does not contain milk casein it does contain a substance which acts very much like casein, to the point that many on a casein free diet cannot drink it.
