Made for a Man……But I Like It Too

If you remember that Irish Spring commercial then you are old.
I remember it.
Ahem….Anyway the University of Barcelona has done a study on the effects of a strong cup of coffee on men and women.
For the study they used 668 volunteers. This is odd. Why not 670? 665? Nope. 668. Healthy volunteers.
And I think it was weird they felt the need to say “healthy volunteers.” I mean who chooses sick people to test coffee?
They gave volunteers espressos, one containing 100 mgs of caffeine and one containing 5 mgs and men reacted more strongly to women to the 100 mgs. The researchers said that they thought some of it was psychological because many of the men also reacted favorably to the decaf.
I refuse to make a comment about that.
Anyway, interesting study. Now, could someone explain to me why in the world someone needed to get some sort of grant to fund a study to find out information that no one needs?

LOLOL!
I also did a post on this at Lively Women! I think that decaf can help wake you up some, a little. Perhaps. I feel so alone in the decaf fan club.
LOL! Poor Peggy. Actually there was another study done that just the aroma of coffee helps perk you up…
Get it? Perk you up?
