Nonni’s Caramel Latte Biscotti

I love biscotti. Whether I make them homemade or grab a good one from a bakery or coffee house, I really love them. My guilty pleasure? I like biscotti for breakfast.
I have four, count ‘em four reviews to do for Nonni’s. While I like them all, I am starting with the one that I liked the least. The caramel latte flavor.
Nonni’s Biscotti comes individually wrapped. That keeps them crispy and fresh, because seriously, there is nothing worse than stale, damp biscotti unless it is stale, lukewarm coffee.
They come in boxes of 8. With only 110 calories and 3.5 grams of fat they really are something you can treat yourself to regularly.
O.k.
- The biscotti are crispy and light. You don’t have to gnaw on them to soften before biting.
- There are pieces of toffee encased in the cookie. Nice texture change.
- The glaze is generous and thick
What I didn’t like about them was the almost chemical aftertaste that the caramel flavoring left in my mouth. Now, Matthew loved them and didn’t pick up on the chemical flavor. It was almost like the aftertaste you get from a vanilla protein shake to me.
Verdict?
You should them. They were good. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 5 because of the artificial flavor I picked up.

I haven’t seen these. Well, I’ve seen the brand, but not this flavor.
I love biscotti as well. I prefer to make my own, but it doesn’t always happen.
Have you noticed the ones at Starbucks are often broken? I just can’t buy a broken biscotti.
LOL Peggy. That is pretty funny.
Ohhh, biscotti is not something I enjoy at all, but I definitely couldn’t purchase anything with an aftertaste nor broken. I do love the name “Nonni” and hear it quite often.
No, Vee? I love Biscotti and these are some of the best commercial ones I have tasted.
