One More Reason to Drink Coffee

According to some researchers you now have a better reason than ever to drink coffee.  Yeah, as if you needed a reason.  It is thought to lessen the pain of working out.

Personally I have my own method for using coffee to lessen the pain of working out.  I stare intently at the machines, pick up my coffee cup, and walk away.  So I can personally attest to the fact that coffee has helped me overcome any workout pain.

Anyway, apparently caffeine keeps the nerves from registering a certain amount of pain.  This means that you can work out more, and ignore that nagging pain better.  Whiskey will do the same thing but most people frown on using that method at five in the morning… So, it’s important to drink as much caffeinated coffee as possible to keep those workouts going.

Now that’s interesting! Not that I work out, but my daughter does and she loves her coffee.

I guess I will go get another cup of coffee. Oh wait! I slept in and skipped exercising. aw who am i kidding? I was going for the second cup anyway.

Actually, truth be told I have noticed it does lessen the pain, but I thought it was all in my head. Since it was working ( ie lessening the pain) I figured I’d let my head do what it wants.

Hey, does this mean it’s another type of painkiller addiction?

We have the same work out routine. Too bad we don’t go to the same gym.
