O.k..so the days are longer, the sunrises are prettier, and I am beginning to thaw out. I have been almost basking in the 80 degree weather we have been having.
All winter long I would drag myself away from the kitchen fire to come in here, clutching my hot coffee to ward off frostbite in this cold office. I am ready to thaw out, and I am ready for all of the flavors of summer. Forget spring. Asparagus smoothies aren’t much good, in my opinion, but a mango one?
Yeah, add mango to almost anything and I will be on it. This green tea, apricot, mango smoothie caught my eye and I wanted to share…I also thought it would make an awesome frozen yogurt. When it is 107F in the shade I could live on smoothies, and probably will…and this one will be at the top of the list.
Smoothies for breakfast are a great way to get in your antioxidants and vitamins when you are running late…
They are an awesome way to relax when you need a break.
And they are pretty darn good just about anytime. This smoothie is full of good for you stuff. I won’t tell if you don’t.
Green Tea Apricot Mango Smoothie
1 cup green tea, chilled
1 c vanilla yogurt
1 cup chopped mango
1 cup peeled, chopped fresh apricots, or apricot nectar
1/2 c ice
Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
Now…let me say one more thing…If you want something a little more, uh, refreshing..and if you have some time…take those ingredients, add 1/4 c sugar and dump it into an ice cream maker. Oh Yeah.

I am just loving the smoothie/latte recipes that you are posting!
Thanks April..I will try to post them more..Wait til I start doing the italian sodas and cremosas…
