But coffee is.
There are rumors flying that Starbucks will be among the numerous stores that will be giving away something for free if you vote.
In this case, coffee.
They are using the honor system..so you just need to go in and say, “Hey I voted. Can I have a tall coffee please?”
Other stores are giving away other things to voters. Krispy Kreme is giving away a star shaped red, white and blue donut…Chik-fil-a may be giving away free food…and there is even a specialty shop giving away free adult toys.
Seriously.
No, I am not telling you which one it is. I have one word for ya on that.
Google.
So what do you think? There is so much election hype it is not funny..that’s what I think.
I will be glad when the whole thing is over. In fact..I have a hunch I am going to be glad when the next four years are over….and I am not sure a free coffee is going to sweeten the deal one bit.
I am curious why a company would give away free coffee for voting. Especially one that claimed it had to close so many stores…
So, will you claim your free coffee tomorrow?

i just saw on the news that here in GA (and some other states), it is a felony to give away things to people in exchange for voting. they said the fine would be $5000 per cup of coffee or doughnut, etc. to any business doing so. hee, shanes ribshack had advertised a free 3 pc. chicken strip meal to all voters, but changed the offer to the first 300 customers afer being informed of the law.
in answer to your question: i will not be getting starbucks, but if i lived near krispy kreme, i might be quite tempted. haha
yeah.. I believe anyone can get a coffee for free today…as I was reading this morning it looks like everyone has changed their ad.
I think that is kinda bogus. They aren’t asking you to bring in WHO you voted for. But I guess, once again, it’s discrimination, huh? Ugh.
heather…I think so. I could so get on a rant about the loss of widespread freedom due to everyone’s intense occupation with personal freedom…but I won;t…yet.
If I was near a Starbucks, I would check it out. I think it’s bogus about being illegal to do it because they aren’t rewarding you for voting for a particular candidate. They are rewarding you for voting in general. Whatever.
Also, I got your package. I have no clue how long it was sitting in the mail room because I got an email last night saying “second notice of package.” I don’t think I even got a first notice haha I’ll have to sit down and read it because the stories look interesting. Thanks again!
umm..carla…color me dense…what package?
