This fragrant brew tastes more like a juice than a tea; because of that those of you that just aren’t that into tea may find this a pleasant accompaniment to your breakfast…sort of like a hot juice. The blueberry flavor is very apparent with a tangy finish. It smells heavenly when it is steeping, wafting over the entire kitchen. It smells like a warm summer day in a blueberry patch! The acai adds earthy notes and you end up with a complex, juicy tea. This tea contains hibiscus, rose hips, blueberry, blackberry, orange, cinnamon, and a touch of grape seed extract.

Get healthy, fight the flu, and enjoy this. I loved it. You can find it in your local grocer or on Amazon.

Disclosure:

Bigelow Tea sent me a huge basket of tea as a gift. There was no agreement to review the tea, no money was exchanged, and I do not have to send the gift back. My review, as are all of my reviews, is based solely on my opinion. No animals were harmed in the creation of this post.

The flavors they are offering are:

Organic Green Tea Acai White Cranberry : Regarded as a miracle fruit by many, the acai berry’s tantalizing tropical flavor blends exquisitely with white cranberry to create a uniquely flavorful green tea.

· Organic Green Tea Original Green: The pure, clean flavor of perfectly brewed, all natural green tea … light, refreshing and rich in nutritional benefits.

· Organic Green Tea Lemon Ginger : Delightfully subtle yet tart, its delicate, lemony flavor is balanced with the gentle spice of ginger.

· Organic Green Tea Mango Lychee : Fantastically fruity! Juicy mango and exotic lychee combine for a unique and delectable taste of refreshment.

They are made with organic sugar cane and sound like they might be a nice change from cokes and other heavily sweetened drinks when you want something besides water or plain sweet tea.

I wish that when companies send out press releases they would also send samples because it is really hard for me to talk about something I haven’t tried. I like Bigelow Teas, and I like that they are increasingly becoming more involved with organics. Arizona has always made really good stuff so I expect this will be good as well. How could you go wrong with Green Tea, Mango, Lychee? YUM! Anyway, if they offer me a sample I will let you know what I think. If you happen to try it, let me know what you think…deal?

Bigelow is keeping up with the “Green’s” so to speak, and has come out with an entire line of organic teas. They should be available at a store near you very soon, and online immediately.

Lots of tea producers have dipped their toes in the tea so to speak, but Bigelow seems to have jumped in with both feet, coming out with a number of teas.
I pretty much can’t decide between the rooibus asian pear and the acai pomegranate. What looks good to you?
