6. Afternoon Tea

A book about tea with recipes and beautiful pictures. This is tea from the victorian standpoint rather than the eastern standpoint. A book to peruse while wrapped in an afghan, curled in a chintz covered chair in front of a roaring fire.

7 Boddum Assam 4 Cup Tea Press

A great way to make tea and filter it easily. Boddum presses are awesome! Be sure and add a tea cozy to the gift box, the presses do not retain heat well.

8. Tea Cozy

If you haven’t checked out etsy for handmade items you haven’t lived. There are all kinds of cool things on that site made by craftsmen (ummm…women) that support their ability to stay home by sharing their talents. The hand-knit cozy pictured is one of a kind but if that one is gone there are many more!

9. Chai Soap

Again, cool stuff from Etsy Shops. Can you imagine indulging in a bath and soaping up with the luxurious smell of Tahitian Vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, bergamot, and allspice? Yeah…me too!

10. Vintage Tea Pot

This one is Austrian from eBay but a quick search on Google will find tons of vintage tea pots. I love vintage things, myself, and I can’t resist antique tea things. I like antiques for a couple of reasons..I like the idea that they have history associated with them and I also like the idea that I am not creating a need for something to be manufactured, but keeping something beautiful from the landfill.

This is by no means the last Christmas list this year… There are so many very cool things out there, maybe we need to call this, List One.
