I love handmade, artisan things and so I love to shop on Etsy. I love these plum and green handthrown mugs. You can find them at Duck66’s shop for an insanely reasonable price.

And I really want to encourage you, consider local artisan shops and shops like etsy when you begin your Christmas shopping. Buying from small business owners helps to strengthen the economy much more than buying from Wal-mart or Amazon.

]]> I haven’t done this in awhile and I ws lured to  Etsy this morning.  It was the Sirens that did it, calling my name from across the Internet.  Pinkie swear.

It is hard for me to remember to do special Mother’s Day editions because my mom passed away in 2002.  I think it was 2002…sigh…anyway, since I don’t buy Mother’s Day gifts anymore I don’t think about it much.

Etsy has some too cute stuff, as usual.  Some of it would be great for Mother’s Day and some is just great.  Ready?
