This is not the Enviga drink they came out with a few years ago..nope..this is seriously green tea flavored Coca Cola. Supposedly you can have the real thing and get your health groove on at the same time.
Now, I have a son that is stationed in Northern Japan so you can bet I am going to ask him to try this stuff..or maybe send me some of it. Apparently when you pour that milk, cream, half and half, powdered cream substitute OR even soy milk in your coffee or tea you are creating tsunami type havoc amongst the antioxidant population.
Are you an antioxidant psychopath?
Because if you are, you may be compromising not only your health but the happiness, and yes even the very lives of the antioxidants in your coffee and tea.

These additions, according to researchers, kill some of the healthy stuff that makes up coffee and tea. Casein binds the polyphenals. Think of it. Polyphenals bound and gagged right there in your coffee cup [...]
Post from: Kettle and Cup

I am seeing little casein ninjas running through coffeeland attacking the good polyphenals. Sort of like the Blue Meanies in Yellow Submarine.

I think I need some coffee. With cream.

According to a study in India, black tea may help prevent tooth decay. While sodas and even orange juice erode the enamel on your teeth the tea helps to keep it from eroding and rotting.
Good to know. I am guessing though, that they are thinking that you don;t add that pound of sugar we in the South like in our sweet tea?
The researchers are trying, for some odd reason, to prove that there is a healthier drink than water. First of all, I sure hope that they don;t start talking to NASA .

They could easily prove that almost anything, including rot gut whiskey, is healthier than our water. We pay an outrageous price for water and every six months we get a little slip of paper that says “Lancaster (Texas) water did not pass state testing. There is no reason to worry. There are no health risks at this time. We are working on it.”

Makes me feel better. You?

I swear…I didn’t.
Researchers believe that too much coffee can shrink a woman’s breasts or keep her from developing to her “full potential’ so to speak… It seems that coffee interferes with estrogen production and increases testosterone in the female body. As far as I remember testosterone increases libido in women, so I am not sure that it is such a bad trade-off personally. Apparently there is a gene that links breast size and coffee intake. You can read more about it here.
So….You figure it out. I think I had better start drinking a ton more coffee… Now..if someone figures out that [...]
Post from: Kettle and Cup
