Behold, the Power of the Tea Bag

Since I am working at a slower pace right now I am doing a little more web crawling than usual. Sorry, less than a week post surgery I don’t have enough energy for actual web surfing.
Anyway, as I was reading through various sites I saw a really fascinating idea on Apartment Therapy. They were talking about how you could use tea bags as air fresheners for small spaces.

What a great idea!
You probably don’t want to use this as a way to upcycle used tea bags though…stick with fresh ones!

Hibiscus Tea Lowers Blood Pressure

A new study that was presented at the annual conference of the American Heart Association states that hibiscus tea significantly lowers blood pressure.

Researchers studies 65 people with high blood pressure and found that those drinking hibiscus tea had an average of 7.2 percent drop in their blood pressure.  This information can be found at Natural News.
Hibiscus has long been used for medical and health purposes.  It strengthens the immune system as well as helps reduce cholesterol.  It cna be used as a relaxant and is a great diuretic.
