I love this mug!
It looks to me like you would have to be especially careful with it when washing but just look at it! I can imagine drinking a steaming cup of coffee from this in the dead of winter, the chill winds howling outside. O.k., yeah, most of the time it is 50F here in the winter but it is my fantasy, o.k?
Anyway, this mug looks like it would bring summer to Alaska in January. I just love it. Butterfly mug is available at Central Crafts
That is a seriously cheerful mug.

I found this mug in a UK shop, so I am not sure if it is available for shipment to the US.
This is so cool. It is a blackboard mug, and it comes with chalk, so you can write your message on your mug and sip your coffee in peace.
On the other hand, if you leave your coffee for a moment you may find that someone has left a message for you. I really like this idea. It might help me remember what I am drinking when I am doing reviews! I found this mug at The Random …read more

When Mike of Daily Shot of Coffee talked about this I knew that I had to try it. It was too weird to be missed in my little world, so I ordered it. I was trying to imagine how maple and bacon and coffee would taste and trying to figure out how they did it without muddying the flavor.
I still don’t know how they did it but I can tell you that the flavor is reminiscent of the way your mouth tastes after you have eaten pancakes and bacon, and are washing them down with copious amounts of coffee.

When a saw the Smoked Coffee at Coffee Beans Direct I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew I wanted to try it but I was sort of expecting a burnt flavor.
Now, y’all know here in Texas we KNOW smoked. We smoke almost anything here..Brisket, ribs, roadkill…..
No..not really. Just wanted to see if you were paying attention.
Anyway I never thought of smoking coffee. I never heard of smoking coffee. So when I read the description I wanted to try it.
The way they do this is the coffee is first custom blended and then roasted. The roast coffee is then taken …read more

If you didn’t realize it, I am a foodie before I am a coffee-head/tea freak. Sometimes I forget that many of you only read this blog and have no clue about Baking Delights, which is actually the bigger, more popular blog. One of the things that doesn’t change is that I like to use coffee and tea in my cooking.
Courtney, who writes Coco Cooks, shared a link to an online magazine that looks wonderful. In this particular issue all of the recipes centered on desserts made with….tea. Masala Chai Creme Brulee? Green Tea Tiramisu? Wow!
They did look absolutely incredible and I …read more
Community Coffee Rwanda

This was the second coffee that I tried from Community Coffee. FIrst of all, if it has been awhile since you tried their coffees they ahve a totally different flavor than they used to. I loved the Sumatra that i got.
The Rwanda is a medium roast. I was interested to read that the coffee trees used were form fifty year old root stock. That guarantees that there has been no tampering with the DNA!
But there is more. This is from the website:
