Yes, It’s Still Kettle and Cup!

Just a quick note to let my readers know that Kettle and Cup is still Kettle and Cup even though you are being redirected. b5media, the network that has K & C, has moved and changed format. Looks different but it ’s still the same… Think of it as a virtual makeover, without all the construction noise and dust; just the detour.
They are still letting me write it, I am still going to be doing all of those amazing reviews, cool coffee and tea recipes, and snarky Starbucks sarcasms that I always have. No worries!
Just here. Same blogs on the blog roll, same odd and offbeat posts. Different look.
So, I will be coming back in a bit to continue with the reviews of Silver Joe’s Coffee, and then we will be moving on to other things…
Iced Tea season is coming up …You guys in the North are probably unaware of it…but it is almost Spring! The trees here have budded, the Bradford Pears and Quince are in flower..I even saw some bluebonnets yesterday. And it is raining.
If it is raining in Texas it must be one of the two days of Spring that we normally get every year.
Adagio has some new teas, as does Teavana…so see? Lots to talk about.
If you are wondering, yes Simply Home Remedies was retired. But, I will start discussing medicinal teas here as well, they are teas right? So, don’t go far…As always, you don’t want to miss a minute of it.

Tea and Ritual: What Keeps You Going?

Writing blogs takes a lot of research. You read, in a matter of moments, what it has often taken me days to put together. I read alot of news reports, websites, blogs, library books…you name it.
The other night I was infusing MYSELF in a hot bath with a LUSH bubble bar. I was lying there reading an old Alexandra Stoddard book from my personal library, Living a Beautiful Life.
It is the book that opened my eyes to the need for beauty and ritual in our lives. Not just to be doing something but because those things feed our spirits, and help us to remember who we are deep inside. Read more
