Turn About is Fair Play

Apparently there is a new British Invasion going on.
A company in Cornwall, England by the name of Tregothnan Tea is growing and making tea. That in itself is only semi-interesting but the fact is that they are successfully exporting their tea to Japan, China, and India!
With 25 acres of tea plants they are growing a ton or so of tea leaves a year. The company claims that the micro-climate of the area in which the tea is being grown allows them to create a tea that rivals Darjeeling, and they believe it is superior to that Prince of all Teas.
And tea is not the only thing that the Asian customers are buying. They are clamoring for the scones. Devonshire and jam to go along with it!
It just seems funny to me. Can you imagine ten years form know, heading into a Chinese restaurant and getting a scone to go with your Lo Mein?

HI Marye,
We have an English Tea Room here owned and operated by Asians and it’s a bit strange. They haven’t quite gotten the English thing down.
A question… I was wondering how the advertising works on blogs and if you could give me any more info.
Thanks,
Cori
