Weight Tea? White Tea!

Once again experts are trying to figure out a magic formula for weight  loss.  First it was green tea that was promised to take of the pounds and then it was black. Then it was oolong.

Now it seems that white tea is the magic melter of fat cells.  Researchers studied people and found that those who drank four or more cups of white tea a day lost an average of four to eight pounds with out making other dietary changes.

White tea is said to increase the metabolism and decrease appetite. Perhaps it does.  If you want to give white tea a try be sure to use organic and you will need to drink over four cups per day.

I could find no information on how long it took to see weight loss.  I would be curious about this. personally.  I still think that the only reason to drink tea is because you enjoy it.

White tea has a more delicate flavor than other teas.  If you are going to try this let me know if it works!

    I’m still waiting for coffee to become the magic weight loss cure, so that I can finally stop riding my bike all the time.

      You and me both. Personally I am pretty skeptical of people trying to find a reason to make coffee and tea healthy. Just drink it.

    Oh Mary, Here is my two cents worth. (see last sentence). White tea is wonderful. Especially if you like WATER. White tea is probably the closest thing to H2O that we can get without it being the real thing. Someone is trying to pull our legs. I LOVE tea. I LOVE every kind of tea there is and am becoming especially fond of pu-erh right now. But its not making me lose any more weight than if I drank more water. Pretty much anyone who drinks lots of water will lose weight, even if they do nothing else. White tea is almost just water. What will “they” think of next??!! Maybe not even 2 cents worth, but its mine!

    I don’t know how these studies are conducted, but I do know that warm tea fill me up. So I eat less. And, if you have to drink at least four cups per day then I can’t imagine being very hungry. Kinda like soup, it always hits the spot. I absolutely love tea and have done some pretty intensive research on the different types. So thanks for sharing that information.
