Mother Earth's Garden

Dried Flower Ornaments

Dried Flower Christmas Ornament (c)Linette GerlachI made this simple little glass ornament a few years ago with some pink strawflowers from my garden. Glass ornaments are easy to dress up. Fill them with your favorite dried flowers, or even seeds, pine needles, or dried greens. I love adding personal touches to ornaments, to give them that handmade feeling.

You can also decorate the outside of the ornament with paint, glitter, or add a ribbon. Make a whole set of dried flower ornaments and add a festive bow. They would make a great, simple gift for any gardener on your Christmas list.
