Mother Earth's Garden

First Fruits

P7190056This little Cherry Tomato is the first vegetable from my garden! This is the first vegetable patch I’ve planted and tended myself. Usually I’m only helping in someone else’s garden. Not quite sure what to do with this tomato. I suppose I should eat it, but that seems harsh. I tended and watered it, and now it’s all grown up!

Ooh, nothing like the first tomato of the season! I picked up some pepper plants and annuals for 50% off at Stypula Brothers nursery by Cherry Valley Road. Today mom and I hit their location on SR79 and bought some more plants. They had a better selection and the plants are in GREAT shape. They had a lot of tomato and even squash.
