- Enter only time per household by midnight EST on Saturday, April 26.
- The winner will be announced on April 27.
- Contest is open to US residents only.
Good luck to everyone, and stay tuned, we’ll have another great giveaway posted later today.

I would LOVE this book. We are wanting to do our first real garden this year and I definitely want to compost. A little scared though, knew someone who’s compost pile caught fire..something about needing to turn it??
I’ve just been heap composting, and would love some better ideas. Sounds like a great resource.
My compost bin (a trashcan) seriously needs some help!
I would love this book thanks
This would be a present for my hubby the gardener. always going to start that compost pile but hasn’t quite gotten around to it yet!
It must be a sign- I was just discussing composting last night with some friends and what worked and didn’t for them. I havn’t tried yet but I really would like to. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I’d love a copy of this book! We generate a lot of compostables…
Have been composting for years and want to learn to do it with worms now.
Wonderful prizes. Thanks for participating. Now if I could just win
I have been trying to compost for the past year, but haven’t seen much success. Would like to learn more.
I would like to compost because I love to put it on the plants and watch ‘em perk up because of it, that and fun- especially if you have the one where you can crank it around.
I don’t compost, and I don’t garden… HOWEVER, I really want to do both, so this would be a great way for me to get started. Thanks for the chance at such a unique prize.
I want to start composting to keep the the earth a little greener, and so that I don’t use so much waste.
I don’t currently compost because I live in a condo and don’t have any place to compost. However, it is on the list of things to do once I get a house. Growing up we composted, but I don’t remember anything specific about it. I just had to dump stuff in the bin or ball or whatever container we had at the time.
I haven’t started composting yet, but I really want to! I don’t know much about it, so this book seems perfect. I just think it’d be a good things to do.. have our own fertilizer for our garden and stuff.. and less waste!
We just started composting last week, because I wanted to contribute less waste to the landfill, and because compost is better for my vegetable garden!
I’m really excited to see how it goes.
We started a compost bin, but have NO idea what we are doing! HA! It is basically just a large wooden box my husband built… and we throw stuff in! I am sure we need to refine our technique!
i don’t compost yet but have been waiting for dh to agree with me and now he has! so i need some info to show him exactly how.
We want to compost once we have our own yard, but it seems so intimidating—make sure you have the right balance of brown material to green material, make sure you turn it at regular intervals, make sure it rots at the right temperature, yikes! This book looks very helpful; thanks for the giveaway.
I just bought a compost bin and hope to begin composting. Will need all the help I can get.
That method where I, um, let it rot? Also, the one with the worms. Where they do all of the work for me!
We just started a compost bin. We also have ordered a worm compost bin.
Our house came with a compost in the backyard. I’ve been throwing kitchen scraps into it, but I’m not really sure what I’m doing or how to use it. I’d love to have some instructions or tips.
