Lilac Anticipation

I showed you a photo of my almost lilac blooms the other day. I hoped they’d be in full bloom by now, but damp, cool, cloudy weather seems to have slowed them down. It’s finally sunny today so I’m hoping to bring you lilacs in full bloom later today or tomorrow.
While you’re waiting Tree Hugging Family has a wonderful post loaded with lilac tree goodness, so go hug a lilac tree.
Lilacs are easily one of my most favorite flowers! We had them all over the backyard when I was a kid and I miss them a lot; sadly, I think it gets too hot here for them to thrive.
