The Dog Days of Summer

This month the Lifestyles Channel is celebrating their furry friends, so I thought I’d share some photos of my four legged friends. Both of them came to live with us after their previous owners put them up for adoption. We love them both, so I think they’ve found their permanent home.

We have a Shih-tzu named Lily, and a Border Collie named Emily. 

Here’s one of my favorite photos of Lily, playing in a snow drift last winter. She’s a crazy dog, full of life.

Here’s one of Emily doing what she does best, stalking something, probably a steer or pig.

Both are fairly good about staying out of the garden, other than digging the occasional hole in my hillside flowers. I think they’re chasing moles and rabbits when they do that, so it’s all good.
