The Light Pink Peonies Are Finally Blooming

June 11, 2008 by Linette Gerlach

My light pink peonies are finally blooming, I love their color, they look so light and delicate. Or at least they did before the storms. It’s been storming and windy for the last two days. The beautiful peony blooms I’ve been waiting for are all lying face down on the ground from the force of the wind and the weight of the rain. I went out this afternoon and held a couple up so I could take a picture. I may go out later this evening and clip a couple off to put in a vase if they haven’t recovered at least a little.

At least I can enjoy the photos.

Do you know the name of your light pink peonies. I am trying to replace one my mother had and it looked like yours.

    Beautiful pictures.

Candy, Sorry I don’t know the names. I’ve had them for several years, and I think I got them from a friend.
