Bridal Shower Idea: Party of Firsts

As my sister’s matron of honor (isn’t that a horrid word? Matron???) at her wedding in January, I am tasked with organising her bridal showers — yes, 2 bridal showers for sister dear. One for her friends and the other for our female relatives.
As I surfed the web for inspiration, I came across this idea from Weddings in Bliss:
A fun couples shower where each guest is assigned to bring a gift for a specific “first” the couple will have, for example: their first Christmas together, their first time they burn dinner, their first night apart, etc. the possibilities are endless.
I could theme it as ‘Party of Firsts’ and could even have a game of ‘firsts’ for the shower attendees like: When is their first kiss? First fight? and the list goes on and on and on!
We’re booking a Videoke Bar for the shower as well. I can’t wait to work on the invites!
I’m going to host this bridal shower for my sister’s friends! Now, if only I could decide on what ‘theme’ I should use for our relatives!
