No matter how much you plan and prepare for something, there are curve balls that you can’t catch. What am I talking about? I’m talking about moving houses!
A week or two before our big move, I have arranged with our telecom provider to have our number changed and have our internet connection and other related services transferred to the new address. I even asked twice “are you sure all your services will be up and running on the day that we move in?”
Day of the big move? Nada, no dial tone whatsoever. Followed up for a week and God bless their soul, we finally got our voice and internet connections up a week and a half after the move!
Great eh? NOT! So, that’s the long and winded story to explain my absence but now I’m back and raring to write more about our favourite topic — weddings and honeymoons, what else????
