‘Juliet’ Balcony to host weddings!

If you’re a fan of William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ or are thinking of having a ‘Romeo and Juliet’ wedding theme, you can have the wedding dreams that the actual site where Romeo wooed Juliet.
The authorities in the Italian city of Verona – setting for the tale of the two lovers – say they want to foster its image as a centre for romance.
The Casa Di Giulietta (house of Juliet) is in the heart of Verona.
Folklore suggests it was once the home of the Cappello family – possibly the model for the Capulets in Shakespeare’s fictional play, Romeo and Juliet.
Before you rush and book the venue though, you have to consider the cost of hiring the balcony, it can be as much as US$930 for non-European residents.

This is probably the most romantic place in the world to get married!
I admit Verona’s beautiful, but I for one would think twice before getting married in a location that pays tribute to what has become one of the most tragic love stories. Still, like I said, it’s gorgeous.
