Most of us know that June is THE month for weddings, right? After all, that’s why there’s the popular term, “June Bride.”
Well, according to this article at Post-Gazette, Hallmark doesn’t agree. Apparently, August has become the most popular wedding month over the last three years. June only comes second. The rest of the order goes: July, September, October, May, April, November, December, March, February, January.
I’m a December bride, so I’m not quite in the majority. What about you?

I’m going to be a November Bride
I have to agree. My business seems to be picking up for the August weddings. I am in the wedding accessories business of sellling garters, bridesmaid jewelry, flutes and more

Most of our engagement ring sales comes in around May, i guess summer is the time when most people wed
December is a great time to have a wedding, and you save money by choosing this less popular month. I chose October myself, but because it’s in Arizona it’s actually still very warm. I’ve made a recent post on Setting Your Wedding Date on my wedding planning blog: http://www.tlbweddings.com (The Last Bridesmaid Weddings). Enjoy!
I’m really surprised August is so popular because in most places it’s so warm. I would have totally thought june was the most popular!
I mean, I’m going to be a December bride, so I will be saving money which will be nice.
I’m a July bride. =) I expected June to be the most popular month, but I originally wanted our wedding to be in August, but all the dates were taken… I can understand why August is popular!
Looks like we’ll be wed in September, which suits us just fine. Autumn has always been my favorite season, what with the warmth of its colors and of course, pumpkin cake!
