Sean Bean and Georgina Sutcliffe tied the knot at Marylebone Registry Office in London
Sean Bean and his bride, Georgina Sutcliffe, after their register office wedding ceremony in LondonFriends of the 48-year-old and Georgina Sutcliffe, 29, had feared that their wedding might not go ahead after the couple called off a previous planned ceremony 24 hours before they were due to marry last month.
However, this time there was no last-minute hitch and the television actress – dressed in a 1940s-style black pencil skirt and white blouse, accessorised with towering heels, a flash of red lipstick and white flowers in her hair – tied the knot with Sheffield-born Bean at Marylebone Registry Office in central London in front of 15 close friends and family.
After the ceremony the actor said he felt “fantastic”.
Wearing a blue two-piece pinstripe suit Bean, who starred as a James Bond villain in GoldenEye, whisked his new bride into a black cab before being driven off.
Bean married his first wife Debra, a hairdresser, when he was just 21.
He has two grown-up daughters, Lorna and Molly with second wife, actress Melanie Hill.
He then married Abigail Cruttenden, who played his wife in the ITV historical drama series Sharpe, with whom he had a daughter Evie, now nine.
