Surprise Your Bride with a Song

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about 5 ways to get your groom involved. One of the tips I suggested was:

3. Highlight your Groom at the Wedding — I know that any wedding is really a bride’s special day but let him feel special too. If he’s a good writer or orator, let him have a portion during the wedding reception for him to share his thoughts about being married or perhaps he can read a poem he wrote for you? If he’s a singer then let him sing a song for you at the wedding!

One of our readers, Katrina March commented:

Item number 3 made me smile… because my fiance is going to play the guitar (since he’s good at it) and serenade me during our wedding reception, singing our song (he’s also a good singer). I actually asked him to do this and he’s excited to do so.

I find this really sweet. I wish Hubs could carry a tune to save his life. It’d be nice to be serenaded

If you want to suprise your bride and you’ve got a good singing voice (or you play an instrument like what Katrina’s fiance is planning to do) then why not do it?
