The wedding film above runs for about 12 minutes. It’s grainy like a film set in the 1980s. Jason used a Super 8 film for this. I love the way it was covered. So unobtrusive catching the bride, groom and their guests at their most natural, unassuming selves. The film was interspersed with interviews here and there. The wedding vows were nothing out of the ordinary but the mood, oh the mood of the video was fun, fun, fun. They couple looks so in love.

The wedding was at 7am but as you can see in the video, they were partying till late at night! They have a lot of energy!

What a great way to spend the first day of February. I watched wedding videos to pass the time and this one warmed my heart.

Maybe because Denden (the bride) is close to my cyber heart. You see, Denden is someone I met through blogging. She and I visited each other’s personal blogs and through these visits, we got to know each other, I “witnessed” her finding her own prince charming and now, she’s married and I can’t be happier for her than I am now.

Denden and Gerald are based in London, UK but got married in the Philippines. I am sure she has a lot of stories to share with her wedding preparations. It’s hard enough preparing for your wedding when you’re in the country where you’re getting married. Imagine, doing it from thousands of miles away

What are the chances of a Bride requesting for a Smashing Pumpkins song for her Same Day Edit?

One in a thousand.

And that one chance happened last January 3.

In the phonecall during the drive up to Tagaytay, she mentioned Tonight Tonight was her one and only choice. Adding that she ranks SP up there with the Beatles. I couldn’t agree more.

Pressed for time (as always), we managed to finish the SDE. The playback was overwhelming! Never would have I imagined Corgan blaring through speakers in full volume, strings soaring, drums pounding. I hope you enjoy watching this as I had much as we had putting it together.

I know to my North American readers, this video and the names on the title won’t mean much to you but this is a wedding of one of the most popular showbiz celebrities in the Philippines, Claudine Barretto. Her wedding was captured on video by Jason Magbanua.

Jason covered my own wedding back in 2001 and I must say he’s still the best! If you could find someone like Jason to cover your wedding outside the Philippines then you won’t regret it. The style ain’t boring at all so you can watch and reminisce your wedding over and over again
