I’ve established a Group on Facebook called ‘Wedding Photos of the World’ to feature wedding photos from all over the world.

If you’re on Facebook, I hope you can join up and share your own wedding photos. It’s quite nice to see wedding photos from people of all races and how weddings have changed through the years too!

This is of course not real diamonds so something worth considering. The ring is made of cubic zirconia. If you are ok with that then this is a reasonably cost-effective wedding ring for your wedding

Tuesday Delight: Vintage Weddings

This is my parents at their wedding in June 1968. Can you see how happy they are to be married….LOL!

Not sure why they weren’t smiling on this photo. Perhaps back then, smiling on your wedding day is not the in thing to do…who knows? Kidding!

I love my Mom’s wedding gown. It will be classified as vintage now I suppose. I love it because it’s so simple et elegant.

I wonder how much it’d sell on eBay? Naah, got no plans of selling it but I thought of sharing it here in the hopes of providing more ideas to those planning a vintage wedding.

Did you notice the white on white going on with my Mom’s wedding outfit and her choice of flowers? Totally cool!

And the Boutonniere that my Dad’s wearing on his lapel? Something you can use for the Groom in a vintage wedding too

‘Elise’ Vintage Wedding Dress

Surfing the web and found this lovely vintage wedding dress — ‘Elise’ from Sassi Holford.

Bridalwave says

There is a vintage look to this dress with the frail lace, long sweeping skirt and lacy cap sleeves. I would have pegged the era as twenties-ish but the long skirt draws it away from the flapper style and right in to the 21st century. The dress is mostly made from satin with all-over lace appliques and a very pretty champagne coloured ribbon belt which you can just see on the waist.

1950′S Lace Tiers Princess Dress from Posh Girl Vintage

This is such a stunning & hard to find vintage 50’s wedding or prom gown! It’s tea length with tons of delicate floral lace & a fitted bodice. It has a metal zipper in the back & the skirt has 3 layers. The bottom layer is a rayon acetate then a tulle crinoline and the top layer of 4 tiers of lace. The top of the bodice is sprinkled with pearls. Our favorite dress hands down!

1940′S Lace Halter Party/Wedding Dress from Posh Girl Vintage

This is such an amazing & rare vintage 40’s wedding dress or party gown. The halter styling is just so cute. The bust is white tulle & white sequins sprinkled across the top. The lace is a cream color with 2 layers of white tulle at the bottom & underneath. The dress is lined with a cream rayon/acetate taffeta fabric. The bodice is boned and the dress has a metal zipper on one side. Just stunning!

1950′S Lace Tiers Strapless Dress from Posh Girl Vintage

The prettiest vintage clothing, vintage dresses, lingerie for sale on the net! Here’s another wonderful frilly lace vintage late 40’s early 50’s prom or wedding dress with tons of lace tiers & tulle. There is a metal zipper on one side, the bodice is boned, & the skirt is very full.
