I am naturally quite a shy person, and I was speaking to one of my friends who is getting married next month and was encouraged by her approach. She too is shy, her “Big Day” is about vows, joining together with the person she loves unconditionally – it is not about being the centre of attention for the day.
She talked to her prospective husband and decided to not follow all the traditions. No speeches, no first dance, etc anything that would make her feel uncomfortable. They agree that the day should be one that they love, that they remember …read more

For me one of the best parts of a wedding is seeing the bride and groom take to the floor for the first dance. I was wondering which are the top played songs and here is the list.
Unforgettable (Nat King Cole)
Can’t Help Falling In Love (Elvis Presley)
Can I Have This Dance? (Ann Murray)
The Way You Look Tonight (Frank Sinatra)
It Had To Be You (Harry Connick, Jr.)
What A Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong)
Endless Love (Diana Ross and Lionel Richie)
I Cross My Heart (George Strait)
I Swear (John M. Montgomery or All 4 One)
A Whole New World (Peabo Bryson & Regina Belle)

Webcast Weddings

Ever had family or friends who cannot make the wedding well here is an idea.
webcastmywedding broadcasts weddings to a couple’s friends and family unable to come over from (or to) far flung places. Customers need a video camera, laptop, and high speed online access. The company then charges USD 395 for setting up a live stream of the event, support for up to 25 simultaneous viewers (who are sent a url and password), and an on-demand archive of the wedding for 10 days.
Might be a great idea for any ill guests as well.
