I’ve been writing for b5media/Blisstree for several years now. I write about parties and entertaining at She Knows Parties, and I also write about kids stuff (toys etc), at Play Library, and starting this month at Splendicity Weddings. I also have my own party blog, The Kid’s Birthday Fun Review, where I write about kids parties.

My mom owns a bridal shop, so I’ve been around brides and weddings for most of my life. I go to bridal shows and events on a regular basis, and I hope to share many of the ideas I find with Our One Heart readers.

I’ve posted several wedding ideas at She Knows Parties over the last few years, so I think I’ll be back later with a roundup of those ideas.

One of them discusses the topic of ‘Wedding Proposals’ — How did He propose? I love the answers to this especially Kori’s! The other topic currently discusses ‘Colored Wedding Dresses‘ — are you a traditionalist and prefer a white wedding dress or are you more modern and prefer a splash of color?

Hello guys and gals! I hope you had a good holiday break. Our little family had a great vaca in Picton

As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m instituting some changes and improvements here at Our One Heart to improve your reading pleasure

For 2009, I’d like to introduce a theme for each day of the week!

Monday Spotlight – Monday Spotlight will be focused on featuring new wedding trends and relatedreviews, interviews with newlyweds, engaged couples and suppliers, wedding stores on the spotlight.

Tuesday Delight – Tuesday Delight will be focused on contest announcements or blog giveaway, blog carnivals, wedding announcements, engagement announcements, etc

Web Wednesday – Web Wednesday is reserved for giving some link loving The entry for Wednesdays will focus on finds on the web that are worth linking, ie sales, expos, etc

Thursday Inspiration – Thursday Inspiration will highlight inspirational wedding photos, wedding tips and ideas, etc

Friday Q&A – this day is reserved to answer your questions or discuss a topic of interest

Saturday Surprise is dedicated to anything under the sun. Watch out for surprise posts.

For my North American readers reading this, I hope you are enjoying your Christmas day and as for the others in the same time zone as me down here in New Zealand, I hope that you are enjoying Boxing Day!

We are currently enjoying the sunshine down here in Picton, New Zealand. My family and I are here for a week of R&R. Can’t wait to work on my tan. I’d probably be roasted by the time I get back from our week’s holiday

Yep, this is what I got for Christmas. Well, actually, this outdoor furniture set is what the Husband and I got for each other for Christmas. We decided to be practical this year and by ourselves a new set since our old one was getting a bit manky and ratty.
