You could have them made to represent your wedding gown, or even to match your bridesmaids gowns, or flower girl dress. Have them all made the same, or each one unique and different. I like how each one of the cookies I have pictured here are just a little different.

Have your cookies individually packaged, or add them to a candy bar or dessert buffet and let your guests serve themselves.

You can buy a nice card stock to print them on, then use a scrapbook cutter to cut your edges evenly. You can even double or triple layer your place cards to frame them, or give them a more polished look.

Scrapbook embellishments, or die cut shapes can also be added to your place cards fairly easily, or when you’re printing them add a printed border, or decoration with the name.

To print your names with a printer set them up in word, using the make labels function. Pick out a label setting that is the size you’d like to make your place cards then put in your names and print them out on your card stock.

You can then tie them to something, put them on a little stand, add them to your party favor, or a small frame to display them on your table.

You can set up your own candy bar, or have someone set it up for you. Many candies will work well for your candy bar. Chocolates are usually a favorite, but gummy candy, M&M’s, mints, small sugar cookies, mini cupcakes, or jelly beans would all make great choices.

You can also offer mini or full sized chocolate bars with a custom printed wrapper with your wedding details for people to remember your special day by.

Glass containers, or cookie jars with little scoops work well to hold and dispense your candy.

Provide little favor bags or boxes for your guests to scoop their candy into to either nibble on at your reception, or to take home with them for later.

What I like most about these chocolates is that each one has a fresh fruit inside, along with the delicious filling. They’re so elegant, all natural fresh blueberries, raspberries, or cranberries, dipped in sweet dark chocolate and individually wrapped.

They’re sweeter and richer than you’d expect. They’re definitely a little different than your normal chocolates. Fresh fruit and chocolate, is there a better combination?

I would definitely have these chocolates again. My husband enjoyed them, he made off with several for a snack before I even had a chance to try them, and he usually doesn’t have a sweet tooth.

One of the best old wedding photos I’ve seen to date! It’s not your typical stiff, non-smiling photo but a lot warmer and fun kind. It’s a real delight to look at!

I do think that if you’d opt for something like this for your wedding favor, it can definitely set you apart. Not only is it an uncommon practice to use vintage postcards as wedding souvenirs but also is a great opportunity for the couple to personalize the message at the back. It’s definitely a romantic keepsake and will work well with weddings taking on the vintage theme. Maybe this will even save you from sending out Thank You cards after the wedding.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind keeping it should I get it as a wedding favor.
