Wedding Theme Idea: Cherry Blossoms

Wedding Theme Idea: Cherry Blossoms

It’s actually pretty interesting to observe how other countries put together weddings. One of the more interesting places would be my home country the Philippines. I noticed that the it’s quite common to opt to go for hotels as venue for the wedding receptions and to cater to this market, hotels actually offer out-of-the-ordinary wedding themes to help the bride and groom organize a memorable wedding celebration.
One example is the Cherry Blossoms theme available at the Diamond Hotel.
According to Wedding Fact Sheet, this particular wedding theme “portrays the soft side of Japanese pop art and natural elements. The effect is …read more

Wedding First Dance Idea:Pulp Fiction Moves

Are you a Pulp Fiction fan? You can incorporate your favorite movie into your wedding by dancing the first dance to “Pumpkin and Honey Bunny” (dialogue)/”Misirlou” performed by Dick Dale & His Deltones.
Make sure you get dance choreographed to like this couple here:
What the couple did was they started out with a slow song (a different one) and then broke out into the funny dance ala Uma Thurman and John Travolta. I loved the audience reaction the best though. Everyone was clapping and having a lot of fun cheering the couple along. So cute!
There are other great songs that you …read more

Surprise Your Bride with a Song

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about 5 ways to get your groom involved. One of the tips I suggested was:
3. Highlight your Groom at the Wedding — I know that any wedding is really a bride’s special day but let him feel special too. If he’s a singer then let him sing a song for you at the wedding!
