With this Ring, I thee Wed

One of the best parts of planning your wedding is picking out your wedding bands, at least, that’s my personal opinion. We all know that combining shopping and jewelry in one important to-do task that’s part of the wedding budget is like asking a child to go to the candy shop armed with $50. Ah, toothache.

But not to trivialize an important symbol of matrimony, the wedding bands are indeed important. Beautiful, romantic and, yes, can be expensive. But wouldn’t you want the freedom to choose the perfect wedding ring that you will wear for as long …read more

Creating Your Own Ring

I like shopping. I like shopping more if I can customize an item to my liking. Like wedding rings. Wouldn’t it be perfect if you can choose the diamond, the setting and then view it before ordering?
Usually, you go into a jewelry shop, choose which diamond and setting you want and that’s it. With Amazon, your very own wedding ring gives you a chance to show your personality and style because the site allow you to choose the diamond that you like (and can afford), the setting and it allows you to view what the ring would look like before …read more

Wedding Bloopers

Wedding Bloopers

Any wedding no matter how perfectly planned will have bloopers and little mistakes. So to those planning their own wedding, I do want to caution you all to not stress about making your wedding perfect 100%. At our own wedding, my Husband slipped his wedding band on my finger and I only realized the mistake because the ring was too big for my little ring finger. No I didn’t get stressed about it. We actually laughed about it and tried to slip in the right one before my turn in the wedding ring exchange. We have photos laughing our heads …read more

Band sets, also called his-and-her sets, are wedding sets that include bands for both the bride and groom, but do not include any sort of engagement ring. The bands may be simple or elaborate, with proportional adjustments for men’s and women’s rings.

Friday Q&A: Wedding Band Inscription

This Friday’s Q&A is on wedding band inscription.
The Husband and I have our wedding bands inscribed with each other’s names and the date of our wedding. A friend of mine suggested that we should have our bands inscribed with “Love You Untold” — this was (and is still is) the way my Husband used to sign off on his emails and cards he’s sent me while we did the LDR (Long Distance Relationship) thing all those years ago.
This leads me to this week’s question by Steve on Themed Wedding: Lord Of The Rings:
My wife & I are avid fans …read more

One of these things were our wedding bands. Apart from the photos and the videos and your memories of your wedding day, your wedding bands are living reminders of your commitment to each other. Therefore, they …read more

Entwined Wedding Ring Pillow

Entwined Ring Pillow
If you’ve got child ring bearers, it might pay to have a wedding ring pillow for your rings (of course). It’s also much more nicer to photograph if they’re in a pillow rather than in the ring box. If you are having a child carry your wedding rings during the wedding party march (the walk down the aisle), make sure that you assign your maid of honour or your best man to get the wedding ring pillow from the child for safekeeping throughout the ceremony. You know how children are, they get bored at the ceremony and your …read more
