Tuesday Delight: Vintage Weddings

This is my parents at their wedding in June 1968. Can you see how happy they are to be married….LOL!

Not sure why they weren’t smiling on this photo. Perhaps back then, smiling on your wedding day is not the in thing to do…who knows? Kidding!

I love my Mom’s wedding gown. It will be classified as vintage now I suppose. I love it because it’s so simple et elegant.

I wonder how much it’d sell on eBay? :-) Naah, got no plans of selling it but I thought of sharing it here in the hopes of providing more ideas to those planning a vintage wedding.

Did you notice the white on white going on with my Mom’s wedding outfit and her choice of flowers? Totally cool!

And the Boutonniere that my Dad’s wearing on his lapel? Something you can use for the Groom in a vintage wedding too :-)

  1. Vintage weddings are a great idea and you can save a lot on buying a vintage dress by shopping the consignment, thrift or vintage shops in your neighborhood!

  2. Christine says:

    @Diane — yes you are right. They’re great aren’t they? :-)
