If you’re a keen baker and would prefer to do something really personal for your friends’ wedding, why not gift them with a wedding cake you baked yourself? 
Warning: If you are not a confident baker, I suggest you ask for professional assistance. You don’t really want to have a wedding cake disaster on your hands. It’s not fair on the couple!
