This dress is beautiful. I am having a wedding where I will were a black dress with either pink or white accents and my groom is wearing a a white suit. I am trying to get as many ideas as possible because we are making my dress.

Hi, I recently made a black velvet Victorian Wedding Gown. This would not be my first choice in colour and believe me the colour resticts your choice of fabrics and trimming alot. But this bride blew her friends and family away when she approached the isle. So it might not be for everybody but this girl would not have looked better in any other colour. i was widowed young (i married in white) so when i married again a week ago i wore black satin dress.
you wear what you want, weddings change over the years right down to you choosing your wording for vows etc, as long as you marry for all the right reasons.
During the war you wore what was available, now there is too much choice so make the most of it cos you ’should’ be married for life. xx

I got married in Black & Red! It was so elegant, yet unusual. My parents complained at the idea [nothing new there!], but on the day, EVERYONE was blown away!

I KNOW WHERE THE BLACK WEDDING DRESSES ARE! foreverbridals.com (aka Forever Yours) There’s gotta be at least 30 dresses I found that are offered in all black, just look for the color listings next to the dress thumbnails. They also offer many color accents/bow/trains on white dresses. Very pretty.
