This is a fantastic post. I especially like the idea for the speakeasy invitations. You could go all out and do the wedding and reception like a speakeasy, too. :)

When my husband and I got married in April 2007, we had a 1920s-themed wedding. My wedding dress was an authentic vintage wedding dress from 1929, and had the intermission hemline you mentioned. I also used a vintage wax orange blossom wreath with a custom made veil.

Wearing a cloche hat instead of a veil would also be a great idea. I compromised: I wore the veil during the ceremony, and the hat during the reception. I have some great pictures of both up on my website!
