5 Plant Experiments To Do With Your Kids

I have some fun plant experiments you can do with your kids this summer. I like to try to keep my son learning over the summer, but I can’t be too obvious about it. He enjoys science experiments, so I always try to plan a few so he can have fun while he’s learning. Here are a few plant experiments we’ve tried.

grow-a-sweet-potato

  1. Food Coloring Flowers~ Add a little food  coloring to some water, add some white flowers and see what happens.
  2. Grow a Sweet Potato In a Jar of Water
  3. Plant a Potato Maze and watch it grow toward the light.
  4. Plant a Terrarium and let your kids add their favorite plants, and a toy or two to make a fun terrarium scene.
  5. Grow an Avocado Tree

Have fun this summer while you’re learning.
