American Girl DVDs to the Rescue!

The bulk of our family has been down with a nasty stomach virus for the last few days, and the three kids who are normally bouncing off the walls were starting to get a bit bored with the whole “resting” bit.
For my oldest, at least, the The American Girl Movie Collection that she received from her grandma for her birthday was just about the perfect distraction. Just at the point where the, “I hate this. I’m sooo bored!!!” mantra was starting to get more than just annoying, Baldman hooked the laptop up in her room and she watched all three movies on the computer. I still haven’t seen them, yet, but she seemed to really appreciate them yesterday! Thanks, Mom.
I think once we’re all through this (the baby hasn’t gotten it, yet, and we’re hoping he stays clear of it!), I think I’ll be heading over to Bath Body Junky for some tips on getting rid of these continually developing dark and puffy circles under my eyes! Mom needs some playtime and pampering, too, don’t you think?
btw- The American Girl Movie Collection which includes: Samantha – An American Girl Holiday, Felicity – An American Girl Adventure, and Molly – An American Girl on the Home Front which is listed at regular price for 59.98 USD, is currently listed at Amazon for 31.99 USD.

We have all three of these videos and have watched them all a bazillion times. My favorite is the Felicity movie, with the Molly one coming in a close second.
Does your daughter have any of the American Girl Dolls? We have quite the collection and our own web site for them too – http://www.agdollresources.com. Your daughter will enjoy looking at all the pictures.
Hope everyone is feeling better!
Char: Hey there.
My daughter, Samantha, was given the Samantha doll to her last Christmas by her grandma. She’s gotten a few other American Girl gifts for her/her doll since then, and loves it all!
I love your web site and thanks for the wonderful article. Keep up the great work.
Jenny: Thanks.
