Decorate Christmas Cookies With Your Kids ~Betty Crocker Decorating Cookie Icing Giveaway

Icing We have a new giveaway this week here at Play Library. The first one is an assortment of 4 Betty Crocker Cookie Icings.

Each Decorating icing pack will decorate 12-2 inch cookies. The decorating bags are easy to use, you can just clip the tip off and start decorating.

Five lucky winners will receive one each of red, green, blue, and white icing. These will be wonderful for letting your children help you decorate those Christmas cookies.

    I remember my sisters and I along with our cousins would go to my Nana’s. We would make and cut out sugar cookies. While we waited for them to cook we would play bingo. My Nana would make sure everyone would win a prize. Thanks for the chance.

    My favorite cookies to make are cut-out cookies. They are tiring and get a bit boring, but I always have so much fun decorating them! Oh and I love to snack on them while I ‘work’. :)

    I was trying to make anise cookies and i accidentally used baking powder instead of baking soda, and the cookies came out hard

    My favorite cookie baking memories are th ones of when I was akid and I got to help my grandmother make and bake homemade cookies every Christmas holiday. She would cutout cookies in all different shapes like angels and trees and let me decorate them anyway I wanted to. I really miss those times now and it’s really nice to let my daughter helps me like I used to help my grandmother. Thanks so much for such a great giveaway!

    My kids and I love to bake for the holidays. Usually this means there are egg shells in the batter and batter spilled on the floor, but it is worth spending the time with them!

    I tried making a gingerbread house last year and couldn’t get it to stick together, so I just decorated it and put it on a cookie tray and told everyone it was the new trend in gingerbread house making!

    I remember the Christmas that we had some teenage boys helping us out with cutting wood. They came over one Saturday to hang out and found me making cookies. They stayed until really late making all kinds of baked goods. As I looked around I thought about how these boys were just little kids at heart…….it was a very fun day.

    Although they take more time and effort than many other cookies, I do like to do the butter cookies with the cookie cutters and icing. It’s always fun to bring out our “special” cookie cutters—the map of Texas and Australia (previous homes) and exchange memories.

    I have been making christmas cookies with my Mom for the the last 40 yrs…since I have moved out of town we make them Christmas Eve and while the family loves fresh cookies on Christmas day Ma & I just like to spend the time before hand.

    Decorating cookies is something I usually do with my mother-in-law. She bakes them before I get there, and then we spend the afternoon decorating together. Always a great time!
