We have a new giveaway this week here at Play Library. The first one is an assortment of 4 Betty Crocker Cookie Icings.
Each Decorating icing pack will decorate 12-2 inch cookies. The decorating bags are easy to use, you can just clip the tip off and start decorating.
Five lucky winners will receive one each of red, green, blue, and white icing. These will be wonderful for letting your children help you decorate those Christmas cookies.

I have to admit that I don’t usually make cutout cookies because they take time I don’t have. I like making round sugar cookies and decorating them to look like ornaments.

I love to invite my little nieces & nephew over to decorate cookies. It’s a blast! And a big, wonderful (sticky icing & candy pieces everywhere) mess afterwards!

When my children were very young I started making candy cane cookies to hang on the Christmas tree as decorations. After they realized that the cookies got hard as rocks they gave up on eating them but started to help me make them. It became a fun tradition that lasted until they all grew up and started families of their own.

My favorite cookies to make around the holidays are called either Mexican Wedding Cookies or Pecan Snowballs, depending on who you ask. I actually cant wait until after Thanksgiving so I can make some!

I love making Christmas sugar cookies.
My mom makes the same cookies every year that nobody likes. It is colored cookies. It takes her so long. We all go to make cookies together and we make fun but the one year she did not make them we were all sad because it did not feel like the holidays.
We are going to be decorating cookies at Scouts so this would come in handy!
