Blue’s Clues is Freakin’ Her Out…

We are currently dogsitting for my mom. The dog’s name is Puff, and Blue is freakin’ Puff out, I think.
We have the dog for 3 weeks (yes, 3, with 3 preschoolers in the house, too!). Puff was finally getting settled, after a week of tolerating us and our household, and then we threw a ratchet in the works. We started watching Blue’s Clues today.
Oh, I forgot to mention, Puff is old and blind. She stands in front of the kitchen cupboard and barks at it, apparently waiting for it to move. So, the sounds of the fake barking, tweeting birds, and talking sidetables emanating from the TV when Blue’s Clues is on is just not settling well with her. She just stands there and barks at the TV. Oh well. The oldest kid is at a friend’s house, the baby is napping, and Blue’s Clues is the only thing that’s occupying the 2 year old so that mommy can get some “work” done. She’ll have to learn to cope.
BTW-Have you voted in our poll in the right sidebar, yet?

That is so funny! Poor ol’ Puff! She must think she’s losing her ability to smell as well.

Kailani: I hadn’t even thought about that! You’re probably right, she hears another “dog” but can’t smell it. Too funny! Only 2 more nights and she goes back home.
Ah, Blues Clues. I remember those days well… When I was pregnant with my youngest, popping in a BC video was the only way I could grab a nap whilst 3yo Mara watched TV.
Happy dog-sitting!
