Does this sound like a game you or your children would like to play?
A computer game called Bully in which players apparently hurt other pupils in a school has been condemned by anti-bullying campaigners.
A screenshot from the game depicts one student kicking a classmate while another looks on.

This isn’t the first video game with objectionable content and the company producing Bully, Rockstar, also produces Grand Theft Auto. There are either some seriously disturbed game developers at Rockstar or they just know how to appeal to our basest instincts.
I know all the arguments about fiction, art, and entertainment, so I’m not calling for censorship. But I do hope parents think twice about the kinds of media their children are exposed to because even if the kids aren’t allowed to watch or play, I’m sure plenty of their friends and parents will.

The world of computer games is very suspect. I hate the idea of this game but I know little boys will want it…and as someone who was persuaded to buy GTA only to discover afterwards what a NASTY game it was I wish this sort of game didnot exist.
Katherine David, Thank you for the comment. The world of video games does seem to be on the shady side. And it seems that its gravitational pull is too strong for most people, especially of the male gender, to resist.
