Up for a shopping challenge? I know you are!
Baby Cheapskate wants to know if you can find a new Amazing Allysen doll in her original packaging for less than $69. Could be worth it. Just take a look at this YouTube video of Amazing Allysen. Is she for real?!
Even the folks at Engadget had a good time with Amazing Allysen.
Allysen can perform all the same neat tricks that Amanda does — responding to vocal stimuli, contorting her plastic face into “lifelike expressions,” and recognizing her own accessories — but steps up her game by actually remembering little details about heroverlordBFF (birthday, hobbies, favorite smoothie flavor) and including those facts in future conversation.
If you have a video of Amazing Allysen, share it with us!
Update: Today I saw the Amazing Alison doll in London and I saw the Amazing Allyson doll somewhere else online. What’s her real name??

Oh wow, that is cool. That would actually be perfect for my oldest daughter. She loves to tell me about her dreams. She will even say, “hey daddy I didn’t dream anything last night.”
Steve: Sure your wife would approve of this new “child” in your family?
I would love to hear my son’s dreams. He’s still not quite aware of what’s going on during sleep.
I found one for 49.99 at “Tuesday Morning.” They are discount/closeout stores here in North Carolina. They are like a TJ Maxx or a Ross. You could check there. Althought mine is the spanish/ethnic version.
