Christmas Toy Review

Happy Boxing Day! Not sure if we’re going to brave the SALE! SALE! SALE! of London since my son is busy playing with the goodies he got for Christmas. Here’s what some other kiddies got yesterday around the blogosphere.
At Giselle’s Total Waste of Bandwidth, she talks about the many gifts her son received and rethinks the way they do gifts:
For Christmas our son got his own room. He also got some cool new toys to go in said room. This is my particular favorite. Now he has somewhere to play with all his Duplos. He absolutely loves the new space. I kind of dig it too, because there’s sure a lot less stuff underfoot in the living room and kitchen while I’m trying to work.
From Lyvvie’s Limelight:
We had a great Christmas day, one of the best yet! The kids behaved, mostly. We took account of the presets excitement and sugar overload. Shorty spent most of the day skipping about in her fairy princess costume drowned in pink and purple plastic beads like Mr. T’s gold. Sassy was content, once she got her Rorboreptile she was in heaven and spent a good part of the day shouting “Don’t bite mummy! that’s naughty. Naughty robot.” with her being the mummy.
From Mississhippi’s Madeness:
The favourite presents of the day were a cash register from her Nana and the foot pump rocket from Mummy and Daddy. the Santa rocket needs a playing field to use as the rocket shoots way up in the sky so needs open space. We’ll head out to the local football field tomorrow to give it a go.
My sister-in-law found a beautiful present for Katie – a reversible doll that has been hand-knitted and one end of the doll is Cinders and the other Cinderella dressed for the ball. Absolutely beautiful and the work in it is amazing. Katie is fascinated by it.
Santa gave Katie some great little toys – finger puppets and squeezy toys that when squeezed poke out their tongues.
Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time. What did your kids get for Christmas?
