Cluster Bombs Look Like Toys

I just got back to the UK a few hours ago and have been scanning the news insteading of unpacking my son’s bazillion toys bought on our trip to California. It broke my heart to read about the aftermath of 34 days of war in Lebanon. Three cousins playing in Aita al-Shaab:
Suddenly a strange object caught Sikna’s eye. It was small, round and metallic, with a tip that looked like a cigarette end. She picked it up to show her cousins.
Marwa and Hassan remembered warnings not to touch strange objects. “It’s one of those bombs,” one of the children cried. Sikna panicked and dropped the cluster bomb, which exploded instantly.
According to the Sunday Times, cluster bombs are smaller and deadlier than hand grenades and they litter communities for months and years after fighting has ended.

Oh, that does make me very sad.
It’s disgusting. Who manufactures these things?
Who disseminates them?.
Are they commercially made?
The manufacturers and the users should be identified and their names publicised through out the newspapers of the world.
The people or organisations who use them should be similarly identified and made public so that they mat be properly punished and ostracised.
